Calgary Westside – Market Data for December 2022

The calgary region saw a slow in sales in december. The pullback in sales was met with a pullback in new listings, causing a futher decline.

Benchmark prices eased to $518,800 in December, down nearly five percent from the peak price in May but almost eight percent higher than last December. While prices have trended down annually, they remain over 12 percent higher than last year’s levels.

Take a look at the numbers below for the West Side of Calgary where the benchmark price was 8.97 percent higher than December 2021 coming in at $793,200 for detached homes. The sellers market is still strong with detached homes seeing the sales to new listings ratio sitting at 113.64 percent.
